About us
The U Tří Růží microbrewery continues a brewing tradition in this historic house on Husova Street in Prague that spans over 600 years. The exceptional quality of our beer is ensured by our head brewmaster, Robert Maňák, recipient of numerous prestigious awards. Our beer is crafted using modern technology, the finest ingredients, and the highest standards—while preserving traditional, time-honoured brewing methods.
We regularly brew three core beers – light, dark, and semi-dark – complemented by a wide range of special brews. With dozens of varieties in rotation, every visit offers the chance to discover a new flavour inspired by beer styles from around the world.
OUR BEER PRODUCTION
By combining the highest production standards, quality ingredients, and traditional brewing craftsmanship, U Tří Růží Brewery has been granted the status of a monastic brewery of the Dominican Order, based in the neighbouring building—thus continuing a local brewing tradition that dates back to the 15th century. The house itself has a rich history: as early as 1405, the renowned brewer Beneš was granted brewing rights here, beginning one of the longest brewing traditions in the Czech lands.
The microbrewery, with an annual production capacity of 1,200–1,500 hectolitres, features a 10-hectolitre brewhouse manufactured by Pacovské strojírny. It is located on the ground floor of the restaurant and complemented by an open fermentation room, as well as fermentation and lagering tanks housed in the medieval cellar.
